Workday Release Management Support & Interactive Planner Tool

How we support Workday 2026 R2 for Customers

Four ways our team can help you prepare, test, and handle 2026R2 with confidence.

1. Functional Area Presentations

Deep dives on the updates for a functional area, curated to your tenant. We cover what’s changing, what it means for your setup, and which new features are worth opting into.

Available via the intake form and billed to your AMS hours (hours vary based on SKU). Presentations will be delivered beginning September 1st.

2. Update Activation

We can activate new features in your preview environment, regression test their impact on your configuration, and support a smooth deployment to production.

Submit tickets to help activate specific features. Billed via your AMS hours.

3. Regression Testing Support

Limited Spots Available! We work alongside your team during the Preview window to execute predefined test scenarios, document pass/fail outcomes, and flag anything that needs attention before updates are deployed to production.

A structured approach to extend your team’s capacity. Reach out to your Client Partner to request a spot and discuss SKU specific pricing.

4. Release Planning Tool

A collaborative interface, tailored to your specific SKUs, that allows your team to align on release planning, testing status, and overall readiness.

Available via the sign-up form and activated August 3rd.

status report
See only the updates that matter to your specific tenant

A Workday release has hundreds of notes and not all of them affect you. Release Planner narrows each one to the items that affect your configuration, catered to your specific modules and organized by level of impact.

Know the impact, the owner, and what’s left to do

Every item carries its impact level and the date it was last updated. It also allows you to assign owners and collaborators and set statuses to indicate whether it has been reviewed yet. Nothing sits unread in someone’s inbox.

Request support on specific updates from Commit without leaving the planner

Submit requests to Zendesk from the release item itself. The item, the release, and the affected module travel with your request. Every request is logged and routed to a Commit owner.  You watch it move from submitted to ready, right in the planner. Nothing gets lost in the back-and-forth.
